Fuel and Travel Charges:

I strive to keep prices reasonable, consistent and fair to my clients. I am in business to make a modest but reasonable profit and at this time I find it necessary to add a fuel service charge due to the nationwide increase in fuel prices.
  • Fuel Service Charge is added according to the following schedule:
    • If you are out of the NJ/NY/PA area
    • One dollar ($1.00) per mile one way (AAA mileage guide)
  • Fuel Service Charge is based on the following factors:
    • Rising price of fuel per gallon
    • Rising prices of yearly truck expenses and maintenance
    • Time and distance involved in reaching customers

Overnight Charges:

If two or more days are required to shoe several horses, an overnight charge will be added to the bill. Overnight charges are expenses to stay the night. (Motel, Meals, etc.)
Overnight charge is a flat fee of $145.00 per night and will be collected at the same time the trimming/shoeing bill is paid.

Remember that maintaining a regular appointment schedule guarantees the most convienient appointment times for the client.
  • Appointments must be scheduled on weekdays and must be between the hours of 8am and 3pm.
